Guna. State Labour Minister Shri Mahendra Singh Sisodia has said the state government has decided to grant forest-rights pattas (title deeds) to tribals who have occupied land in the forest areas since before 1980. No tribal living in a forest area since before the cut-off date should be deprived of the government's scheme, and the government will make no compromise on this. Shri Sisodia was addressing a camp held under 'Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar' (Your Government at Your Door) in Sandkheda village of Guna janpad.

He said there is no shortage of urea fertiliser in the district; 1,300 metric tonnes are currently available. The problem arose because society managers did not issue release orders (R.O.) on time. He added that some industrialists and others were also creating an artificial shortage of urea in a conspiracy to defame the government. The government is a government of the poor, he said, and will not spare anyone who snatches away the rights of the poor.

He said that after the cleanliness survey, a sanitation drive would also be run in the rural areas of the Bamori assembly constituency with the help of citizens and voluntary organisations, so that everyone lives in a clean environment and stays healthy. Under 'Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar', the state government is resolving villagers' problems in large panchayats across the janpads. Ministers, district officials and block-level officers attend these camps and resolve villagers' small problems on the spot, so that people do not have to make needless trips to the district headquarters, tehsils and janpad offices.

On the occasion he inaugurated newly built brick-paved (kharanja) roads, costing ₹4 lakh each under the 14th Finance Commission funds, from Baghghu's house to Santon's house, performed the bhoomi pujan for a new kharanja from Kalyan's house to Baghghu's house and unveiled the foundation plaque. He also announced a cow shelter (gaushala) to be built at Sirsi at a cost of ₹35 lakh. At the camp he spoke to every applicant who had come with a grievance and had it resolved immediately.

Present on the occasion were District Panchayat CEO Shri Arun Kumar Shrivastava, SDM Shivani Garg, Shri Maravi Lal Dhakad and district officers of various departments, along with a large number of villagers from Saretha, Sirsi, Sonkheda, Markimau, Nayagaon, Kalchheri, Salauda and Hanumatpura.
